What is a QR Code Generator?

A QR code is a 2D barcode that encodes a URL, contact card, or any short string. A QR generator turns your text or link into a scannable image that any modern smartphone camera can read instantly. Use them on print materials, packaging, business cards, and event signage to bridge the offline-to-online gap.

How to use this QR Code Generator

  1. 1

    Paste the link or text

Add the destination URL, plain text, or contact info you want the code to point to.

  2. 2

    Choose colors

Pick a foreground and background color. Keep contrast high so scanners can read it.

  3. 3

    Set error correction

Higher correction lets the code stay readable with a logo overlay or partial damage.

  4. 4

    Add a logo (optional)

Upload a transparent PNG to place a small brand mark in the center.

  5. 5

    Download

Export as PNG for screen or SVG for print at any size.

Frequently asked questions

Are QR codes generated here trackable?

These QR codes encode the URL you provide and are not tracked by WinWin. To track scans, point the QR to a URL with UTM parameters or use a URL shortener that records analytics.

What is the maximum data a QR code can hold?

Up to about 4,000 alphanumeric characters at the lowest error correction, but practical QR codes stay short. Pointing to a URL is best practice.

Can I use these QR codes commercially?

Yes. The QR codes you generate are free to use for any purpose including commercial print and packaging.

Why is my QR code not scanning?

Usually because the contrast is too low, the print size is too small, or the logo overlay covers too much. Increase contrast, scale to at least 2 cm wide for print, and reduce the logo size if it is centered.
